The group has been meeting monthly since 1960. Members choose from books sent to them by publishers (primarily books written for children in grades K-8), share their reviews amongst themselves, and send copies of the reviews to the publishers. For the first time, a list of the books that receive their highest quality ratings will be linked here each month.

Just follow the link below for great books to enhance your library or classroom collection. Since February, 2009 the SEPA School Library Book Reviewers have rated the following children's books as being of the highest quality. Subsequently, a list of recommendations made at each of our monthly meetings will be appended to this list.
