Pepsi Refresh Project Grants (Deadline: 5th of each month):
Pepsi is excited to officially kick-start the second year of its Refresh Project. Each month, Pepsi will award over $1.2 million for the innovative ideas with the most votes. Starting in May, applications will be accepted from the first of the month at 12:00:01 pm ET through 11:59:59 pm ET on the 5th of the month. http://pep.si/gp69LY
Digital Wish Grants (Deadline: Rolling):
Digital Wish is now offering a program that matches teachers with donors. To find a donor, teachers must build a wish list of Digital Wish classroom technology products. Teachers may then tell their stories and share their lesson plan ideas. Prospective donors review a classroom profile and donate funding or purchase a wish list item for a school. After each technology purchase, Digital Wish will automatically donate an additional 2-10% in immediate cash-back funding to the recipient school to fund their next technology project. http://www.digitalwish.com/dw/digitalwish/grant_awards
KaBOOM! Let's Play Spruce Grants (Deadlines: Sept. 15, Oct. 15, Nov. 15):
With support from Dr Pepper Snapple Group, KaBOOM! will be awarding grants of $750 each to communities this year who wish to make their playgrounds cleaner, safer and more inviting. Communities must demonstrate that they have maintained their playspace and they have led an improvement project in the last 60 days. Sodexo Youth Grants (Deadline: Sept. 16):
YSA will award 25 Sodexo Youth Grants of $500 each to support youth-led service projects in the United States that address the issue of childhood hunger during National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week (November 13-20, 2011). We're looking for projects that engage your peers, friends, families, neighbors in creative, youth-inspired solutions to ending childhood hunger in your community.

RGK Foundation (Deadline Sept. 16 and Dec. 2):
The Foundation's primary interests within Education include programs that focus on formal K-12 education (particularly mathematics, science and reading), teacher development, literacy, and higher education.
Light Up A Landmark for Lights On Afterschool Contest (Deadline: Sept. 23):

The Global Green USA's Green School Makeover Competition (Deadline: Sept. 30):
'The Global Green USA's Green School Makeover Competition', work on an essay with a teacher, a parent, or your school's PTA. The winner of the contest will win the grand prize, a $65,000 'Global Green USA Green Makeover' for their school. Global Green USA will also award four finalists $2,500 to be used on green projects within their school. http://bit.ly/mxlHiY
Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grants (Deadline: October 14 or 1,500 applications):
The Toolbox for Education Grant Program provides grants of $2,000 to $5,000 to public K-12 schools and school parent-teacher groups associated with public schools throughout the U.S. that develop projects that encourage parent involvement and build stronger community spirit. Preference is given to funding requests that have a permanent impact such as facility enhancement (both indoor and outdoor) and landscaping/clean up projects. The deadline is October 14; however, if 1,500 applications are received before the deadline, the application process will close. http://bit.ly/orX4N1
UnitedHealth HEROES Grants (Deadline: October 17):
The UnitedHealth HEROES program is a service-learning, health literacy initiative that awards grants to help youth, ages 5-25, create and implement local, hands-on programs to fight childhood obesity. The grants encourage semester-long projects that launch on MLK Day of Service and culminate on Global Youth Service Day. Schools, service-learning coordinators, non-profits, and students in the health professions located are eligible to apply for the $500 - $1,000 grants. www.YSA.org/HEROES
Build-a-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation (Deadline Oct. 28):
The purpose of the grant is to provide direct support for children in literacy and education programs such as summer reading programs, early childhood education programs and literacy programs for children with special needs. Home Depot Community Impact Grants Program (Deadline: Oct. 31)
This grant supports community improvement activities that use volunteers to: repair, refurbish, and modify low-income and/or transitional housing or community facilities (schools, community centers, senior centers, etc.); weatherize or increase energy efficiency of low-income and/or transitional housing or community facilities; plant trees or community gardens and/or landscape community facilities; and development of community parks or green spaces. Grants of up to $5,000 are made in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services. http://bit.ly/eIis5T
CVS Caremark Community Grants (Deadline Oct. 31):
This program awards funds to public schools promoting a greater level of inclusion in student activities and extracurricular program. The grant application process runs from January 1 through October 31. Qualifying organizations are eligible for grants of up to $5,000.

Connecting Mathematics to Other Subject Areas for Grades 9-12 Teachers (Deadline Nov. 11)
The purpose of the grant is to create senior high classroom materials or lessons connecting mathematics to other fields. Multiple awards with maximum of $4,000.

Improving Students’ Understanding of Geometry for Grades PreK to grade 8 Teachers (Deadline Nov. 11):
The purpose of the grant is to develop activities that will enable students to better appreciate and understand some aspect of geometry that is consistent with the NCTM Principles and Standards. Multiple awards with maximum of $4,000. http://www.nctm.org/resources/content.aspx?id=1324
Toshiba/National Science Teachers Association ExploraVision Program (Deadline Feb. 2012):
This competition provides a turnkey learning setting for building skills—problem solving, teamwork, communication and critical thinking— to better prepare students for the future. Students work in small groups (2–4) under the guidance of a teacher/coach to create and explore a vision of a future technology. Teams compete for savings bonds, computers for schools, and other prizes for students, coaches, and mentors while exploring a real-world approach to science learning. Up to $240,000 in savings bonds is awarded each year. http://www.exploravision.org/
Intel Awards/Schools of Distinction (Deadline: Feb. 2012):
Schools must develop an environment and curricula that meet or exceed benchmarks, including national mathematics and science content standards. Winning programs serve as models forschools across the country. Programs for either math or science should be designed to ensure high levels of achievement for all students in all program areas. One elementary, one middle and one high school in each of two categories - math and science - receive $10,000 cash grants and more than $100,000 in products and services from sponsors.
