Management Services

The Management Services Division serves a dual role within the Intermediate Unit.  The Division is responsible for all of the internal fiscal operations of the MCIU and it provides support and consultative services to our local school entities. 

The Division provides up-to-date information and assistance to school districts as they respond to legislative actions and fiscal regulations affecting school entities (e.g. Act 1).  Periodic meetings with school business officials determine the direction of the cooperative purchasing efforts and the role the MCIU will play in coordinating programs.  Management Services personnel are also available to provide consultative services for management operations, accounting procedures, and all facets of business operations.
