Transition Specialist (Early Intervention to School Age)
The MCIU is committed to facilitating a successful transition plan for students from early intervention program to their home school district. A Behavior Management Specialist (BCBA) will support IEP teams in the transition process. The BMS may complete observation summary reports detailing the student's current services, collect ABA data on home programs and make specific recommendations for a successful transition from early intervention to school age programs. On-site support will be available to IEP teams.

Recommendations regarding Behavior programing by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Attendance at IEP Meetings

On-site Support to IEP team

Consultation regarding ABA methodologies
