The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) is pleased to offer a CollegeBoard Endorsed Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) for 2012. The APSI is designed to help beginning, experienced and future AP teachers plan and implement more effective AP programs in their schools. The Institute workshops share with teachers the curriculum content and teaching methods of AP courses and explore the content, structure, and grading of the AP exams. Where AP content has been revised, those updates will be shared with participants.  In addition, the class sessions afford teachers the opportunity to interact with colleagues and to discuss issues and concerns surrounding the AP courses they will teach.
