The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides meal reimbursement to child care programs that meet certain eligibility criteria and provide nutritious foods that contribute to the healthy growth and development of children. All students enrolled in the MCIU Head Start or Pre-K Counts receive free meals and snacks each day through this program.
