The National School Breakfast Program (NSBP) is a federal program established in 1946 by President Harry Truman. The program provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast to children each school day. The MCIU participates as a sponsor of the National School Breakfast Program for students attending the Anderson School. Students in this program receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.
